I’ve been holding off writing a review of this television, waiting and hoping that Panasonic would address the fluctuating brightness issue…they experience and the results are superb: fluctuating brightness is a thing of the past. I bought the laid back in May knowing it could experience the issue…mine turned out to be a mild case, one that seldom reared its head, but still a nit to option on my brand young set.
I read entirely nigh the troubles on high def junkies, a forum devoted to abode theatre enthusiast. I watched the floor develop over the months as Panasonic learned it had a trouble to sort away and created a solution that worked. (The thread is good reading, and thank deity a Panasonic engineer is an active member, otherwise this may not receive been fixed equally speedily or evening at all.)
In my case, (There are two different solutions.) a tertiary party tech. swapped the A-board on my set. Conveyed virtually ten minutes whole told. I was organized for a ahead and afterward comparison…I had a vista from a Battlestar Galactica episode cued up because it illustrated the fluctuations. With the new A-board, the fluctuations vanished. I had the fix done early finally week and experience scoured movies known to get FB’s and experience found absolutely none. Good business Panasonic. (I understand the fix is instantly incorporated at the manufactory on newer construct dates…mine had an April build date. If you experience7 an older model, merely shout the Concierge service and they’ll have attention of you.)
As for the set, I’m totally pleased. It has a killer TC-P50GT30 flick quality, cryptical dismal blacks, splendid fine detail, lag liberal gaming, nice motion handling, right online apps with an included tuner dongle and a superior make quality to top it off…absolutely first rate.
